Chair was delivered, had a licensed plumber install it, and less than 24 hours later, the drain mechanism is broken and won’t drain. Company is sending us a new part, but all of the labor to replace the part is on us. So disappointing.
Bought this for my fiancés new salon after trying another chair from elsewhere that we ended up returning. This chair has all the bells and whistles and is everything she wanted. From the foot rest that lifts up in the middle to the moveable shampoo nozzle. She loves it. Very happy with our purchase.
These are awesome! Purchased 8 for my new salon suites and they are fantastic, minimal easy assembly, they're super comfortable and are wide enough to accommodate thicker bodied folks too. Ordering has been simple, and working with the Salon City staff is a breeze. All around satisfied customer, who will continue to shop Salon City for my salon furniture needs. 💜
We have noticed that a few of our hydrolic massage tables don't go as low as others. This is an issue for our more petite massage therapists. The massage step is our solution to this issue to allow our therapists to be booked in any of our treatment rooms. It has helped create better and safer ergonomics for our team.

The spa mister seems nice. Smaller than I thought. However my main issue is I can’t get it to stand up straight. The bottom screws are almost impossible to line up. I reached out to customer service last week and I have yet to get this issue resolved:/

Ordered (2) vacuum breaker holders. Waited a week and got (2) vacuum breakers instead. Notified them immediately of their mistake. Been waiting yet another week and still no correct product, no shipping confirmation, nothing. Not feeling very optimistic at this point. We’ll see…two weeks wasted so far..
This is a great chair. The range of height adjustability is perfect for me. Really saves my back. Also, the tight radius of the base keeps the wheels from getting in the way. The chair back allows for moments of relaxation during sustained work.
Not really sure how to rate things prior to unboxing but the website was easy to use, the shipping was expensive (I used to own logistics companies) no pre-alert on shipping or lead time BUT the driver called me when he was there, unloaded at my residence (I was at the shop) allowed my kids to take pics of each pallet. The driver was kind and an effective communicator. I didn't get a copy of my DO/BOL but should there be concealed damages I know how to sort it out. I'll definitely use the site again.
Horrible chair have had problems from week 3 it’s week 8 of owning it. Uncomfortable for client and technician. Parts falling out and leaks water. Would love to get my $4000 back. Wish I could give zero stars. Also directions to assemble are a nightmare buyer beware.

I purchased several styling chairs from Salon City for my salon, and unfortunately, after only about one week of normal use, the gold finish on the bases started coming off and showing a silver color underneath.
I contacted customer service because I was concerned that brand-new professional salon chairs were already showing this type of wear. I was told that their warranty only covers the functionality of the chair, such as the hydraulic pump, and does not cover the finish.
I’m very disappointed because these chairs were a significant purchase for my business, and I expected the finish to hold up much longer than one week. I would recommend that anyone considering chairs with a gold finish ask specifically about coverage for peeling, fading, or deterioration before purchasing.
I have been using my new Adams barber chair I ordered from Salon City and I freakin love it. Could not be happier. Quality is incredible, it came in one piece besides a piece of the footrest which was 2 bolts, basically zero assembly. My clients are always impressed to see it the first time and compliment how comfortable it is. Will continue to purchase from Salon City! (Headrest removed in my photo)
I ordered the Dermalogic 30L Glass Door Towel Warmer, along with the Dermalogic 30L UV Sanitizer. I had researched the two products extensively before purchasing them because I specifically wanted two separate pieces of equipment that would coordinate in my new studio. Based on Salon City’s own product photographs, both were shown with a fully finished black exterior.
What arrived was nothing like the advertised version. On both units, the finished black exterior housing/casing shown in the manufacturer's product photographs was completely absent. There was no protective exterior housing at all.
The units arrived covered in a white, tape-like protective film. Because it was peeling away and I could see exposed metal underneath, something clearly did not look right. Before doing anything else, I contacted Salon City, the manufacturer. I spoke with Santos, who specifically told me that the white material was protective film, that I needed to remove it, and that the black cabinet finish would be underneath.
It wasn't.
Removing the film—which took a considerable amount of time—revealed the underlying stainless-steel/chrome cabinet structure. There was no finished exterior housing underneath it at all.
This was more than an appearance issue. Without the finished exterior housing, some of the exposed metal edges were inadequately finished and sharp enough that my husband cut himself twice while handling the units.
Santos asked for photos which I provided and he agreed to replace both defective units and told me the replacements would be inspected before shipping. After nearly a week with no new tracking information for the replacements or return labels for the defective units, I emailed and called to check on the status.
What I learned was even more concerning: Speaking again to Santos at Salon City, (the actual manufacturer of Dermalogic equipment) he could not guarantee me that the replacements would include the exterior housing shown in its own product photographs. I was actually told that the photographs on the manufacturer's website may be wrong.
Santos also explained that their distribution warehouse is located elsewhere and that they did not know how to have someone there physically inspect the inventory to determine whether correctly constructed units were actually available.
This next part is what I find extraordinary: Salon City ultimately advised me to cancel my order rather than proceed with the replacements, because they could not verify the inventory or guarantee that the next units shipped would not have exactly the same problem.
To his credit, Santos was polite, responsive and candid throughout the entire process. My issue is not with the CS experience. It is with the astonishing disconnect between the products being advertised on the website and other parter sites, the products actually being shipped, and a manufacturer that cannot verify whether the complete products shown in the photographs on its own website are what actually exist in its distribution inventory.
With my studio opening in less than two weeks, my only realistic option was to cancel both items and find replacement equipment elsewhere. Santos agreed that cancellation was the appropriate course and cancelled the replacements because Salon City could not assure me that it could send the complete, properly housed equipment shown in its own listings.
That is an extraordinary quality-control and product-representation failure from the manufacturer itself.
Very comfortable and built well. The rubber rim for the base is damaged. The box looked like the item was returned and resold. Nothing significantly wrong with the chair itself, besides an issue attaching the footrest.
